Fishing Trips by Helicopter
Reid Heslop Helicopters offer a wide variety of fishing adventures from trout fishing in our spectacular remote back country to deep sea fishing charters in the Marlborough Sounds. With three generations of helicopter flying experience in the region we know where to take you for that ultimate catch and enjoyable day out.
Trout fishing:
The Nelson Marlborough region offers some of the best brown trout fishing in the world. For over 20 years the Reid family have been transporting locals and visitors from all over the world (some very famous) to some of our best known fishing spots. We have guides available for day trips or if you are already familiar with the area you have the option of day trips or overnight hut stays.
Anatoki Salmon Heli Adventure:
Try something a little different with this special package which combines the fun of both a helicopter scenic flight and fishing for salmon at the Anatoki Salmon Farm. This flight includes scenic veiws of both the Kahurangi & Abel Tasman National Parks. Once you have caught your fish it can be smoked right in front of you and you can enjoy your catch for lunch accompanied by a drink on the deck.
Deep sea fishing charter package:

Depart by helicopter from either our base in Wakefield or Nelson and Blenheim airports. Fly into the stunning Pelorus Sounds and land at your private accommodation.
