Your weekend will start with a helicopter transfer from Nelson Airport to The Pear Orchard Lodge. Spend your arrival day relaxing at the lodge or exploring the area, there is so much to do and see!

The helicopter will meet you the next morning at The Pear Orchard Lodge and whisk you off to one of our favourite mountain bike tracks. Because everyone’s riding abilities are different, we have left the choice of trail up to you and your group to decide. Choose your adventure from this shortlist here.

On day 3 you will have the helicopter meet you at The Pear Orchard Lodge and you will be transferred back to Nelson Airport.

Helicopters Nelson and Awaroa Lodge have teamed up to bring you this fantastic no-drive mini-break.

Grab the family or some friends for 2 nights at Awaroa Lodge in the Abel Tasman National Park.  All transfers are included – a one-way scenic helicopter transfer and a one-way sea shuttle transfer as well as road transfer to connect to your sea shuttle at Kaiteriteri.

From our convenient base at Nelson Airport, board one of our modern helicopters and be whisked away to a subtropical paradise. Surrounded by pristine waterways and native forest, Awaroa Lodge has been constructed to make the most of its secluded location which is not accessible by road.

• 25 minute scenic helicopter flight from Nelson Airport to Awaroa Lodge in the Abel Tasman National Park
• 2 nights accommodation at Awaroa Lodge
