Take this unique opportunity to see the pristine native forest of the Gorge from above, before you land to begin some of the most epic riding you can experience in New Zealand. In their own words – ‘The Gorge is home to well over 70km of hand-built mountain bike trails that run through a lush native and beech forest environment from a maximum elevation of 1200m. Think epic back country riding, mixed with bike park convenience.’ We couldn’t have said it better ourselves!

This tour offers you three shuttles. Trails in the Gorge are long – you’ll be glad of the rest in the heli shuttle between runs (and did we mention the views?) Riders must belong to the Nelson Mountain Bike Club. Don’t worry, if you’re not a member you can join here. The Gorge is best suited to intermediate and experienced riders and guides are not provided.
